The kills are so unrealistic, and Deadpool is so outclassed by many he's killed, even with his more focused and thought through devices, that the whole thing only makes sense from a psychological perspective. However, even from the fourth wall perspective, the entire enterprise comes off more as a third-rate Watchmen like commentary on Superheros, than it does as Marvel admitting its own many failings. I wish they'd focus more on the latter, and then they could really go over the top with the ridiculousness.
