It's been over 5 months since Doom Patrol's triumphant relaunch under Gerard Way's DC Young Animal imprint, and the current incarnation - written by Way, illustrated by Nick Derington & colored by Tamra Bonvillain - has recaptured the magic found in Grant Morrison and Richard Case's run, the greatest influence on my own work, as well as bringing something fresh. And now, with Doom Patrol #5, out March 22nd, the world's weirdest super-heroes finally come together as a team for the first time in the new series!
