Geek-Girl #2: introducing Chromex

Summer James, the temporary Geek-Girl, has got her work cut out for her in next week's Geek-Girl #2 when she takes on - without the Geek-Girl powers(!) - Chromex, a quirky new character who has a pseudo-'street' way of talking, and is among those taking advantage of the hole in law enforcement in Maine, following the damage done by Lightning Storm in Geek-Girl vol.1.

You can check out Preview pages of Chromex's debut - from GG artist Carlos Granda's roughs-to a finished page, colored by Chunlin Zhao and lettered by Paul McLaren, below!

Out July 11th, the Digital Edition of Geek-Girl #2 (with a cover featuring villains the League of Larcenists) is available for Pre-Order at Comixology here; and Geek-Girl #1 is still available in Print & Digital editions at www.geekgirlcomics.com :)

Geek-Girl #1 Release Date

When 'Little Miss Popular' Ruby Kaye lands a pair of super-tech glasses (invented by brainiac college geek Trevor Goldstein) in a game of Strip Poker, she's granted flight, super-strength, and - due to a flaw in the glasses' programming - super-klutziness!

And this is just the beginning of the changes the glasses will wreak on Ruby...

Geek-Girl is a project I've been working on for some time, it took a while to find the right artist - Carlos Granda - and together with the coloring skillz of Nahp and Chunlin Zhao, and the lettering of Paul McLaren & Micah Myers, we have a Mini-Series (created and written by myself) that I'm very proud of, and that I'm excited for you to see.

In Geek-Girl #1, trying to be a super-hero, Ruby Kaye stumbles across a mysterious and extremely dangerous new villain taking down her town's Numero Uno heroine - and is forced to step up and use her powers for more than just accidentally knocking drinks over her friends...

Geek-Girl is entering the Super-Hero Big Leagues - whether she's ready or not!

Geek-Girl #1 is released November 2nd by Markosia. UK peeps can Pre-Order the Regular Edition with the button below: and receive it before the release date and signed by me.

£3.00 + £1.50 P&P

I'm working on getting it available for Pre-Order outside the UK as well - watch the Geek-Girl Facebook Group for any updates on that. :)
